Babies do not cry to be in the focus
Do babies want your attention?
Yes.... because...
Babies do not talk but "speak"/communicate to you with eyes, body and the crying.
They tell you
* I'm hungry
* I'm tired
* I'm cold
* I've pain
* I'm affraid
* I just need a hug...
Is your baby going to calm down after a while if you do not pick up...? Yes...
Does it mean your baby settled and happy?
NO
It means only
# your baby too tired to shout for help....
# gave up and understood nobody care... no point to ask help....
That's why never ask me to do not pick up a crying baby or put down and it will be fine after awhile....
If baby got enough food, has clean nappy, does not have pain (stomach, teeth, blocked nose...) and feel save... is going to sleep.
When baby close his/her eyes is not sleeping yet! To fell to sleep into a stable state, it takes aprox. 20 mins ( check the music toy that you hang over the cod, it has aprox 20 mins music because of this) So if you move the baby...etc there is a big chance you disturb and wake he/she up and will be more unhappy and you can start over again just with a more tired baby.
Give that 20 mins for your baby and for you... do not rush....It worth it.
and... ...
.....let the house be messy... and let yourself to fall a sleep too
.... do NOT give a sh@t anybody's, point of view, judgments ...
